Some questions about Dodge 600 1986
I'ts a great problem to find a manual instruction for my car in Russia. Can anyone help me to find parts in USA for my car? Does anybody know, if there are custom parts for my car. In Russia it is called like Tuning.
Interesting, to see a cold war era American car in Russia, was it originally purchased there?
I dont think you have a 600, that looks more like a Dodge Caravelle, they are somewhat rare here in the US. I could be mistaken, here is a link to the forums site map, on it is a little info about the 600, I didnt see anything about the Caravelle though.

What kind of car is that on the right?

This is a real Dodge 600. This car appeared in Rssia in 1999, I am the third owner here in Russia. This is a restyling version of 600 series, and was manufacturing from 1986 to 1988. There is a twin car by Chrysler (Chrysler Town&Country Station Wagon 1988) http://www.autowp.ru/pictures/chrysl...on_wagon_2.jpg. The only difference is that Dodge 600 is sedan. I want rebuild this car and give it the second life. There is 2.2 L engine. In future I'll instal there 3.0 L Engine, it will be painted in two colours, there will be new music system, all interior will be covered with Deutch leather. Now I changed only rear diskbrake system. I'm going tofind in USA chrome bumpers. By the way i couldown dodge Aries, but I chose 600 )))
No matter what you do to it its still a neat car, I was told last summer at a show that 80's Mopars, as well as any 80's American car is becoming collectible, the 80's here in the US was the "disposable car" era no one kept them, we just drove them till they died and junked them. When you're ready to get your bumpers you could plan your trip to include the Mopar Nationals in Pennsylvania or if you're like me and like walking through junkyards, my advice is to look in the southern or southwestern US the cars there are known to be rust free and you would possibly have better luck finding what youre looking for. I will search my emails for a web site that was forwarded to me, its a directory of junkyards throughout the US, and and some of the yards on it even list their inventory.
It would be greatfull, if you search your emails. I investigated my country if there any doge 600's, and the result is that there only two cars in Russia, first is located in Ural mountains (Ekaterinburg), it's Dodge 600 1984, the second is mine. There are alot of Cgargers, RAM chargers and so on. By the way, I'm looking forward to buy a Chrysler Imperial LeBaron 1969 In US, I know that this car is extremely rare in US, isn't it? (Junkyards -you mean yards where you can buy used parts?)
Here in the Us there are typically 2 types of junk yards, the first is like you said a place to buy used auto parts, they generally have a large piece of land with hundreds of cars on it, and they take off the parts and keep them in a storage room until a person needs them. The other is my favorite its the same as the first one except you go and remove the part yourself.
Having one of only two 600's in Russia makes yours very valuable to a collector in your country, so hang on to it! Finding a collector interested in your car is like me trying to find a K-car collector there aren't many of us, but in time these cars will come into their own and develop a following. When they do we'll be able to get a nice price for what we have. I keep telling people our K is my daughters college fund! LOL!
I'm home from work tomorrow so I'll track down the link for parts I told you about.
I just found the link:
www.car-parts.com
When asked to enter a zip just use 12020 that is the zip for my town.
At the bottom of the page will be a explination of the letter codes used in the list.
If you need any other help with it let me know and I'll walk you through it.
Happy hunting!!

Thanks for links! But one problem occured while visiting www.car-parts.com I can not type the right postal code, becouse I don't even know the system of US postal codes. I've found some parts on Ebay, but I don't think i'll order there any part. I can tell you a story. One Toyota Scion XB owner ordered turbo-kit from Japan using Ebay, he payed 2100 Euro for it,3 months past, he comes to the post service, takes the box, where must be his Turbo-kit. He realised that the box had annormaly light weith. He opens the box and find there two used socks (two used japan socks). Now he is the happyest owner of two used japan socks cost for 2100 Euro!!! It is even more expensive than socks of Dolche and Gabanna, GIO Armani, Donna Caranetc.

Good day time Rare Aries! Thanks for postal code. It works. But I've found a better way to buy parts for my car. To by the part, I just need to know the serial number of this pat, and it will arrive in Moscow in 15 days. I've allready ordered headlight doors for my 600. I think that through 2 months my 600 will be rebuilt fully. I'll post photos of my car during restoration.
