I used to own a 1995 Lebaron Mark Cross wagon - with the 2.6 Mitsu engine. I had to rebuild it when I got it and did all the oiling mods etc. Kept it 'till it rusted away around me.

Have a chance to pick up a pretty nice '86 KPH21 when the snow melts. That's an LE coupe, 2.2 automatic. It's a one owner with about 147000km on it - black and silver with buckets.

Also had a 1988 New Yorker 3.0 Mark Cross Landau. Currently driving a 2003 PT Cruizer

Default 1986 Dodge 600

I have a 1986 Dodge 600 Convertible, 2.2L (no turbo) 3spd Auto, 90,000 original km, Garnet Red.....original paint & most everything including the original black power top, crank windows in the front & power for the back. GOODYEAR EAGLE GT II oversized tires white letter., dark red interior. Cold blowing A/C although I don't use it much cuz it sucks so much power from the 97hp engine lol. Still the original radiator. Just changed the gas tank.

Ontario Canada.

I joined because of my 82 Dodge Ram but I also have an 82 Chrysler Town and Country Woody Wagon. 32,000 km, previously owned by a 90 year old lady who bought it new. 2.6l fully loaded

Default 1985 Dodge 600ES Turbo Convertible

Hello, just picked up our new (to us) 600ES, with 36,388 miles on it. Needs a little work but a great ride. We had one 20 years ago in a different color.

Default Keys locked in the trunk. Help please!!

HEEEEELP! I locked my only set of keys to my car in the trunk! It's an '83 dodge aeries. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to remove the back seat or if there is another way to gain access to the trunk!! I'm a broke college student so I can't put down the money for a locksmith.

Well it might be a little late but you can definitely get into the trunk if you take the back seat out. If i remember correctly there are two screws right under the front of the seat bottom, they are either 10mm or 3/8. Once you remove those pull up on the front of the seat bottom and it should pull out. The rear seatback i think also has 2 bolts at the bottom going through metal hoops. Once you remove those you should be able to push UP on the entire seatback and it will pop out of some hook things at the top. Behind that there will be a felt paper noise insulator kinda thing, just tear it off. Behind that there is an x-shaped brace. You wont be able to crawl all the way into the back seat but you should definitely be able to snag your keys with a long magnet or a coat hanger or something.

This is all from memory so i might be thinking of some other kind of k-car (ive owned nearly all of them), but the basics should be the same.

BTW, i have an 89 Aries that i converted to 5spd and turbo. I ran it in the Grassroots Motorsports Magazine $2009 challenge, got 3 little columns in the mag.

I actually bought it in like 2004 or so for $100 with a locked up 2.2 and auto trans. Since then it has had 6 different engines in it, 2 of them went in twice each. Its had 5 different transmissions in it, same deal as motors, they almost all came out and went back in at various times. I converted it to 5spd but kept all the auto stuff (just shifter and cable, really) and went back to auto for a short time. Its 5spd again now. Basically there is almost nothing stock left on it and ive been through it top to bottom and front to back and i love the hell out of it. Currently it makes about 240 hp and 340lb ft of torque. That much torque feels crazy in a 2400 lb car. It will spin in 3rd gear sometimes. Still gets 25mpg on the highway.

Ive owned between 2 and 3 dozen k-based cars. A lot of them i bought to part out and recycled what was left. Right now i also have:
93 Dynasty
90 Dynasty
90 Caravan
84 Executive Sedan
85 New yorker
89 Spirit
