Default 84 Aries prepping for race, couple of questions

Yes, I know, I'll probably get laughed out of the field, but it was free. The body's shot (roof caved in, rockers are gone, been hit more then once...), but the suspension is all new and the motor runs great (105k miles). The track is a 1/3rd mile oval, so hopefully the light weight and long wheelbase make up for the weak motor. The class I'm going to be entering with it requires the car be completely stock, but no glass but the windshield, no lights, etc, etc. We've taken a few liberties with the rules, and pulled the entire AC system, and a few other unnecessary bits. Questions:

1. In most cars, there's a spare accessory line in the fuse box, for use/abuse, I'd like to hook the radiator fan up to it, for obvious reasons. Can someone tell me where it is?
2. Can the ECU be reprogrammed to get a couple extra horses out of this old motor? I have all the equipment to remove the EPROM, program another one, and drop it in, just need an image to put on it.
3. Where is redline, and where is the peak stock horsepower, for the 2.2L motor? It's an automatic, but I'd like to have some idea how badly I'm abusing it.
4. Are there any other little things I can do, without modifying the mechanics of the motor, to squeeze out a couple horses? I'm advancing the timing tomorrow, and already have a CAI installed (sort of)

You'll get used to it, but when you win a few races in that little K it will will start to get some respect. Take it from someone who shows a K. The first time time I showed it I got the looks, stares, chuckles and comments under the breath, but after 7 shows with 2 second place wins, 2 top 20, and one top 5 out of 300 cars, that car started to get a liitle respect.

It probably won't last that long. The mount for the sway bar is seriously rotten, I've welded a piece of metal to it to try to make it last a season, but I don't know how well it'll hold. This class also tends to have lots of accidents, it's all 4 cylinder cars, and they usually limit it to 80 cars, on a 1/3rd mile track. And it won't be winning pretty car contest any time soon. Also, on such a short oval with such a light rear end (can be easily picked up by 2 guys or one big guy), I don't know if I'll even be able to keep it on the track.

EDIT: oh yeah, this also will have a full roll cage, doors welded shut, 5 point racing harness, and the bucket seat out of a 95 intrepid (which is actually very comfortable in this car). For the first race, she'll be primer grey with painted numbers, if she makes it through that in one piece she'll have earned some paint and decals.

Get a turbo car. Period. The n/a 2.2L platform is good for one thing. Commuting at a below adverage pace. Racing a stock n/a 2.2L is a HUGE waste. Ever my 2.2L turbo 86 Z was nothing special, doing about 16.4 in the quater mile. Your n/a aries would be lucking to do a quarter mile in 20 sec. Seriously.

This might get ya going:

Quarter mile doesn't matter, it's 1/3rd mile oval, so it's handling and acceleration that really matters. Anyways, we decided to scrap the K, it was far too light in the rear end to do very well on that track, and it wasn't worth putting a cage and everything in just to find out.
