my car has been running like junk since november iv replaced everything i can think of, o2 sensor, wires, plugs, cap, rotor, pcv valve
fuel filter, air filter.. even went as far as removing the catalytic converter because a shop said my exhaust was to hot or some junk.. either way nothing has helped... iv had it compression tested compression is good... had it on a computer.. didnt come up with any codes... it has a major loss of power, it started runnin like crap right around the time i had my alarm put in.. the installer says the only wiring they touch is the constant 12v source and the ignition.. PLEASE HELP any ideas greatly appreciated..

 

If it started immediately after the alarm install, then that is your culprit. If nothing is showing with diagnostic scans then that just leaves the mechanicals, like a bad cam which may not be opening the valves enough to completely fill the cylinders with fresh air and expell all the spent gases, this could reduce power and performance without creating loss of compression. It is more likely to be something easier to fix, but a thousand times harder to find.
