Dodge Dynasty no start
I have a 1990 Dodge Dynasty with a 3.3 v-6 engine that has starting issues. When I try to start it it will attempt to start and sort of run if I keep pumping the gas pedal though it will stall within 5-30 seconds. I am able to do that repeatedly but it just will not fire up I just replaced the fuel pump, fuel strainer and filter and still no start. The car has mysteriously started and ran fine for a few days and then back to the no start situation. I have checked and have fuel pressure and good spark from the coil. My car does not have a distributor but instead has a large coil instead. Is it possible that under load the coil is not generating enough power to maintain spark when the engine attempts to fire? Beyond that what else would cause my car to fire and up and die within a few seconds?
