get all the weight out of the car, poly suspension bushings and engine mounts, some drag slicks,custom made ram air intake, really stiff rear shocks, advance the timing to 16°, run 93 octane, and you can break it into the 14's on a ¼mile. that's what I did.

take the AC off, custom cold air intake. 52mm throttle body from the 88 dodge vans.. other years work too, just make sure they have the 3.0
port your intake plenum and open the exhaust up. 2.5inch works well. adjust your timing to 15*
youl lose a little toque but get some high end.. worth it in my book because these cars are all low end.
and make sure all your other parts are in good condition. (suspension, brakes, etc)
