93 shadow, washed engine, no start HELP!
so i de-greased the engine on my winter beater, took it to the store, it ran great all the way there then it crapped out when i came to a stop. (2.2L) towed it home, it was a little bit flooded with fuel. the injector isn't pulsing, it's just spraying full blast so it's obviously grounded somewhere due to the water. i have great spark as well.
got it to run but we had to keep the throttle wide open to keep it alive. the second we backed off it'd die. with the throttle open it sounded healthy but as we'd back it down it would buck and stutter and without more throtle it would quit. we sprayed the dist, and every electrical contract with brake clean and an air line to ensure clean, dry contacts.
i've let it dry for 14hrs now and it still won't start. it's been cold and foggy every morning lately so that won't help much. should i pull the engine harness and go through all of it to make sure its dry and inspect for cracked/damaged wires? could be wet still in the harness? might it have jumped a couple teeth on the T belt?
not sure on that 'cuz it did sound like it was firing good about 5K rpm?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanx

It may just be a coincidence but your PCM a.k.a. the brain might have crapped out. If I remember right the PCM is inside the car, so that is why it would be coincidence, they were known to fail after time.
I had the same problem with my K when I cleaned the engine it did the same thing but the problem went away after a day, I just let it run in the driveway for about 30 min.
