i have a 94 sundance duster that wont start i put it at tdc and set the timing to the specs in the book but for sum ressone it wont start i am geting fire i am geting fuel it turns over but will not start any ideas just to let you know this car has not been started in a year and a battry has not been in it for at lest 6 month plz help

 

Was the gas left in it the whole time it was sitting? Did you add any gas since trying to restart it? Stabil now has a product called Start Your Engines that will dissolve the varnish that gasoline turns into when left sitting for months. My guess is you've got a bunch of that gunk that is clogging your lines and TB injector and it is very low octane, so normal spark won't ignite the fuel. Even if you added more gas, it can't break down the gunk that has already gelled. Also, it helps to make sure your air filter is clean or new and I will usually pull out the plugs and give them a soft wire brush cleaning to get the corrosion of them as well.
