93 Dynasty 3.3 V6 problems
Car has 2 main problems.
First is when you turn ignition over to start, you get no sound no start nothing but on 2nd 3rd 4th tries it will turn right over. Battery terminals will be replaced as first line of trouble shoot as posts look like owner before has repeatedly beat on them to point both terminals and battery need replaced. Is there anything past this that could be causing the problem?
2nd part is that I took it on interstate today and found out that about 70-80 mph is top speed with the pedal to the floor. It was like no responce at all. City driving it picks up and goes fine just once it gets to high end it seems to fall off. To me it's like there is no passing gear at all. No RPM gauge to tell how high it was reving. I used the cruise control and suddenly when I pressed the accel button on the wheel it shifted into the passing gear and picked up to over 80mph. When would this problem lie? I would think the tranny, but if the cruise DOES kick and the pedal does not. That leads me to believe there is a throttle problem.
Thanks in advance for any help you might have.

First off, Welcome to the forum. As for the no-start issue I would go with first replacing the battery/terminals and see if that helps any as you stated you were going to do. I soppose its possible that your throttle pedal stretched or something (maybe there is some adjustment??) and thats why its at 80mph when its floored. Dont quote me on that because I dont know much about the 3.3l I only have the 2.2 and the 2.5 in my Shadows. But I would look to see if there is a way to possibly adjust the cable so there isnt so much slack in it..Thats what the problem sounds like it is to me (again dont quote me on that) but if the cruise control can take it above 80mph and the pedal cant it amlost has to be a cable problem with the pedal. I know that the cruise control has its own seperate cable that is connected directly to the throttle. Hope this helps you out a bit.
