I have a 91 shadow 2.2L. I have not driven it for a couple of weeks. When i went to start it this morning it ran really ruff, blowing black smoke, and then check engine light came on. I then turned the car off and took my other car to work. When i got home i fired it up again and it ran smoother this time and no black smoke but the check engine light is still on. Any suggestion on what I do about the check engine light.

It sounds like the TPS sensor (Throttle Position Sensor) ?? R.V.
