They were the mid and full size cars Chrysler built during the 80's and 90's, before the LH's were introduced. They were the Dodge Aries/Plymouth Reliant/Chrysler LeBaron/Dodge Shadow/Plymouth Sundance/Chrysler New Yorker/Chrysler Imperial/Dodge Dynasty/Dodge Spirit/Plymouth Acclaim.

k car was also the dodge mini van.. Lee Iacocca brought to market in the earlys 80s, a comom platform that was shared threw out dodge, Plymith, Chryslers line up.
Chrysler was bent over and lossing money, RWD cars were under the death cross, so A commom car for the people inspired by Iacocca back in the earlys 1980s led to the Kcar..
Mitsubishi bulit V6 engines powerd a lot of K car Varriants ..
Shelby turbo charged the 2.2 lt in the dodge charger/plymith colt, I still like the daytona styled K cars
