So after a diff pin punched out of my trans last week, much swearing and heartbreak, and some heavy thinking.........

I've decided I'll be converting my car to rwd.
It'll be powered by a mild 318/360, mated to a 727 trans, and a narrowed Ford 9 (unless I find an easier rear).
Looking around 350-400hp.

 

Did this project ever get off the ground? If so, please tell.

 

Ended up building a 568/543 hybrid trans. A friend bought it off me, but conditions were I get dibs when he sells, so I may get it back soon.
When I get it back I will be going this route, as I have a daily driver now.
