Default 92 acclaim heat temp issue

92 acclaim with 2.5 heat temp really hot when on the floor setting anything else blows cold to me sounds like the core bit how would it have heat at all if you put it on floor vent mix it blows hot and cold??? Lol

Sounds like you have a blend door not working properly. If you have good heat on the floor, your core should be fine. The controls are vacuum operated, so they can (and do) get stuck, allowing cold outside air through.
