Which K is your Favorite?
New to the site. I have a 91 Spirit with the 2.5L. I bought it in '96 with 30K miles and now have nearly 168K on it. I need to replace the strut bearings on it, other than that, no major problems. Keep the oil changed every 3k-4k. It is my work car. Very reliable, decent on gas, comfortable to drive. I hope to have it for several years to come.
I have always liked the Omni. For a number of reasons but the one at the top of my list is this one: What other vehicle in the world can claim that they got reclassed 6 times in a single racing season under the SCCA??? NOBODY!

What year did this happen? You know what the classes were?
Johnny
PS The OMNI GLHS is the best and my favorite, but my second choice is what my daily driver is, a 1986 Turbo Reliant station wagon.

Was the Omni a K car? If so, I'd vote for my old 84. They ran out of engines, so were dropping in anything they could find. I ended up with one of the Peugot engines.
W/ only 4K miles, we took it on the first road trip, down the coast and speeds of 85MPH on the route home... the worse mileage route imaginable. Still got 45MPG.

Even though i own a Shadow and i love it to death, i have to admit i voted for the Daytona. I just think so F#*KING COOL. I just love how slender and areodynamic they are. Just a smooth looking car. Plus the same engine as the Shadow, gotta love that.
Oh this is SO not fair... It's like asking which of your children is your favorite... I refuse to vote!! I had 2 omni's both mini tanks (One I hit a ditch at 45 MPH and she was still chuggin after that hit, the 2nd I kept having hood problems I.E. it kept flying up in my face cuz the primary catch didn't line up after I used the car to push my bro's rustang off a snowpile LOL), I've ALWAYS liked the look of the daytona, and I owned a Sundance with the 2.2 Turbo and that car was just...... Mmmmmmm..... I'd buy another in a heartbeat...
I like the Reliant.
I once had an 85 that would outrun 5.0 mustangs.
Now this was natural aspirated, no mods.
It was fast as a viper, smooth as a Buick Park Avenue, and only needed a tune up every 100K miles.
