Default Cb radio in a 93' Dodge Shadow

I just got a CB radio for Christmas, its a good size cb, with all the bells and whistles, its a Cobra WX 18 ST II, and I was lookin at the front of the Shadow, by the dash and stereo and was wondering, how the heck am I gonna fit this thing in here? has anybody mounted a cb in their shadow before? I need tips on where to put it, because I have no clue. I want it up front, thats all I know. If you have pictures please send em. Thanks again

When my friend had his shadow (few years ago) he had his antenna (magnet mount) on the hatch and used the mounting bracket to mount his cb radio to the glove box...Soon after he cut the radio bezel up and put it in the "sunglasses holder" above the radio.

I think I've found a place to put my cb, it fits ontop of the little dash, but theres not much room between the back of the cb and the weindshield, I wonder if the cold Canadian weather will hurt it if its that close to a windsheild? What do you guys think?

When I lived in Montana I always let the interior warm for several minutes up before turning on my CB, radar detector, tape player, etc.....never had any problems.
