OK guys, anyone know what the heck this part is and where it is suppose to go?

My car is a 94 Shadow with the 2.2

I recently changed the head gasket and perhaps, somehow I dropped this part in there, but I have no idea what it is.

 

Turns out it is the alternator bracket spacer.

Naw. It is my daughters beater.

One of the most reliable cars I have over owned.

180K+ miles and still running great, except for the head gasket which I replaced last summer.

Body is starting to rust like heck though and the clear coat is peeling off (although I think it may have had a repaint shorty before we purchased it)

But hey, we gave $1,000 for it 4 years ago so I feel pretty lucky indeed.
