Who has the longest running shadow or sundance without doing any major work? Am I the only one? I have a 1992 Shadow with the 3.0 and the 5 speed with 251,000 miles. I have not done any major work except tune ups. I have ran synthetic oil in the car since I bought it new. It is nearly rust free.

 

I cant say mines be too good to me. Its a 1993 Shadow 2.2Litre 4 cylinder, 3 speed automatic, and so far its needed air conditioning fixed, timing belt, and the transmission does'nt work right in the least.... so theres my car, but I agree with these guys on here, no car lasts forever, my car has 186 000 on it right now, but I guess thats a Dodge thing.

 

Mine is a 1994(and it says 85102 but it had the tranny replaced before i bought it so i am guessing 150,000 miles) and nothing major just tune ups and a fuel injector o-ring.

 

Wow. I cannot believe my 3.0 has lasted this long. I owned a caravan and it blew smoke at 100k. Engine locked up at 160k on the freeway. Oh, BTW. It hit 252,000 today. Still runs like new. Original alternator, ORIGINAL timing belt which I am gonna need to replace, since its in the trunk.
