Would I be able to put a 2.5 litre turbo 1 engine into my 93' Shadow, thats a 2.2 litre? what would I need to do/replace?

 

You will need the wiring harness for the turbo, (most of the main harness from what I understand). You will need the ECU, I belive a diff fuel pump. Your trans wont really hold up that well to a turbo motor either... Its alot of work to put a turbo motor in a Shadow, which is the reason why I didnt do it myself....I had found the motor and everything...It was from a 91 Spirit R/T... I was gonna buy the motor, trans, ecu, and harness...

 

Oh, I see. Well thanks for telling me this, I wouldnt wanna do all the trouble, then have my tranny go again, btw, its in the garage now getting rebuilt, but I got a deal on it, he's only charging me $500 for the complete reubuild. Sad to hear your getting a Neon, your driftin away from the Shadow scene

 

I may be keeping my 93 shadow, and always have the 91 convertable (though its my fiances car) I will still be around in this part of the forum often to help out where I can . I havent decided if I want to sell my 93 or not...I know I'm not gonna get much out of it Its back to almost all stock now.. The more I think about it the less I want to sell it..Mostly because it was my first car and I put so much time into it to get it where it is now.

 

yeah, sometimes its hard to let go, personally I'd keep it, but its up to you.
