Default Shadow idle and reverse shake.

The other day I was in a friends driveway waitin for them to get out, and I put the car in park, about 20 seconds later, the car started to shake midly, then the engine almost cut out, and then shook and chugged up again, then it did it again awhile later, what the heck happened there??? also, when I put it in reverse, it shakes violently, sometimes (not all the time) whats going on here?

sorry for double post!!!

Have you tried getting ECU codes?
Does the car have a tach? What RPMs does this happen at?

It might have something to do with idle speed and/or fuel.

http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html
I think the procedure is also in the repair manual (Haynes or Chilton).

Ok, and now the car when its in park, sometimes it'll rev up on its own, to keep the egine alive, but it seems to be a bit higher RPM's, I'am not sure.

No, I'll go out and try it soon, how do I get them for my car? 93 Shadow?

Ok, I just got out to the car and tryed the codes. The check engine light blinked 5 times, then another 5 times. I looked this up, and it was 55- End of codes. Whats this mean?

55 means end of codes, if nothing was before it then there were no code faults set which will make the problem harder to figure out seeing as the lack of codes doesn't give you a starting point.
