Hey everybody, i am new on here so i figured i would introduce my self, my name is jon and i live near cleveland i have an 89 turbo omni convered over to turbo2 and i just got done puttin an hx35 on it, i will post some pics, ffeel free to ask any questions.

Hello there, welcome to the forums! I was thinking of converting my Shadow to a turbo, how long did it take you?

 

Well it took some time, like a month to convert everything over but i swapped out tyhe 4 lugs for 5 lugs and did 4 wheel disk conversion and i ran all new brake and fuel lines, but the swap probly took like 4 days or so, i have lots of very hard to find parts so it might be harder for you.

Nice car man the Omni is the ultimate Dodge sleeper car. So it "Goes Like Hell" have you taken it to the drag strip and what kind of numbers does that thing make in horsepower.

 

Well i haveant taken it to the track with the big turbo yet but it went a 13.1 @ 104 with the stock garrett t3 @ 15lbs, but now i am runnin 24lbs on the hx35 so an guessin around 12.0 some where around there, the horsepower is right around 340 to 350 or so,

also any suspension mods? I've got '90 omni i'm upgrading for autocrossing and look'n to redo the suspension for cheap. any tips?
