Omni MPG question
well we might be needing a 4th car just for my dad to go from work and back...and i suggested the Omni cause 1. i love how they look. 2. they run forever. 3. their a k-car. and 4. their gas mileage....but what type of mileage should we expect from one if we do get one? and what were the engine opts.?

Well the omni only came with the 2.2 4 cylinder. Depending on your year it could be TBI or Carbed. The Omnis typically got gas mileage in the high 20's , but if you had a stick you could get in the mid 30's with gas mileage. Hope that helps.

I can squeeze 25/28 mpg out of my GLH if I granny shift it and drive like I just got my drivers license.....
If you can find one, the 89 and up Omni's where EFI and are far more fuel efficient than the earlier CARB cars. IF you can't fine one don't sweat it cause the CARB cars get half decent mileage as well....
