93 shadow ignition switch/key cylinder.
my girlfriends ignition switch just broke on her 93 duster. the key is basically dead in the cylinder when the starter should be engaging. i ordered a whole new unit, but until then she has no vehicle, and we just had to have the vehicle trailored out of a parking lot.
so with that said, and the pictures below..is it safe to run a jump/switch to the starter solenoid to start the vehicle when the key is in the on position? i will not be recieving my part for about another week, and she needs a way back and forth to work while im at school.
also, with replacing the ignition, will i have any trouble with the shift lock (auto) ? i really know next to nothing about anything on the column.
which of these wires is the solenoid?

any help is HIGHLY appreciated.
and thanks alot.
