for those of you who have a shadow or sundance with the 2.5L, who are experiencing rough/low idle, surging stumbling extremely poor mileage/performance what i did to solve mine was, cleaned out the fuel system with a 2 step (performed at local garage), changed the MAP sensor, (found a vacuum leak as well) and reset the comp (unhooked the negative for 1hr) my cars been running mint ever since, thats just my 2 cents

 

I've also had idle problems (the idle was very erratic, but in the end got exteremly high) with my 93 2.2 shadow and I replaced the MAP, O2, TPS and AIS motor (which were probably due anyway), but the problem turned out to be shorted wires in the AIS motor wiring harness. I soldered them and it runs great now, but I really need a new harness and I can' t find one for the life of me!
