in ontario we have a wonderful emissions program that is for autos that are 20 years or newer, my omni is 19 years old, in jan. i don't need an emissions test, but to get my car on the road now, i need to get it tested....i have done this, 2 times..the first time it failed, as well as the second time....what failed was the driving test ( curb idle no problem) HC (hydrocarbon) ppm limit is 118 tested was 299 (the first time was382) and the CO% limit is .66, mine was 7.57 ( first time was8.95) I got my air pump working and thought that this would help, i put methol hydrate in the fuel ( was told that it might help)
i put new wires, plugs(gapped to spec), cap and rotor.
im at my wits ends here, i don't really have the money to take it to a garage for them to spend um-teen hours on my car. any and all feedback is gladly accepted
