Default spark plugs

Hey guys well it is time to change out my plugs again. well the only problem is I have been considering on perchasing the Denso Iridium plug but they cost $12.99 each. Has any one ever tried these plugs do you guys think that they are worth the purchase.

Meh, my suggestion is get some kind of NGK plug. They work really well with the aluminum blocks in our Shadows. Thats just my 2 cents.

only difference between the denso and ngk iridiums (aside from double the cost) is the size of the center electrode. Its the fine wire center electrode that makes the iridiums awesome. It requires less voltage to jump the gap=fewer misfires=higher mileage and hp. The think center electrode required the manufacturers to start using metals like platinum and iridium, which are harder and stronger than nickel, because the nickel wouldn't last long enough.

A standard plug center electrode is 2.0-2.5mm
NGK's iridium center electrode is .7mm
Denso's iridium center electrode is .4mm

Whether the extra .3mm is worth the cost is up to you.
