I would like to find something that I can use to hook up all sorts of sensors(oil pres.,oil temp, coolant temp, intake temp, etc) and scan through it so I can get all the readings. Now is there a little device out there I can buy that can do this, will I need to get a laptop to hook in to read and display all the figures or will have to have all the gauges in my car?

Look for otc scanner off ebay. The 2000 will show 2 lines of info and 4000 show 4. To give you idea what they look here one on there right now. (It not mine)
