Im new to this site but have read some good stuff about it!! i have a question regarding my 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7 with 68000k. noticed my truck was making this knocking noise that went away after the truck was warm. asked around and was told it could be an exhaust leak. checked exhaust no dice. started to do it louder and louder and even after the truck was running for while. had a guy look at it and he said souds like a rocker might be getting stuck. when i checked oil level it looked like it was maybe a quart low, i also noticed under my oil cap there was some sort of "oil sludge" i did some more research and read alot of people have had similar issues. Anyone have any advice as to what could be the problem?? now the check engine light turned on and the truck is running like crap!!! please help!!!??!?!?!?
