Default Just got my first truck!!

i just got a 1985 ramcharger royal se 4x4 with the 318 v8!
its got a 6 inch rancho lift with 35 inch tires. it has some carb issues and im not exactly sure how to go about dealing with it. im thinkin of maybe buyin a new one bet if i did i have no idea how big of one id need. i am only 16 so please excuse my ignorance. lol. any thoughts would be appreciated!

Cant wait to see pics! Dont see too many of them around any more. Before you go and change the carb, is it a lean burn 318? With the lean burn system, it might be a computer problem and it would have to be de-lean burned. You can tell if its a lean burn by the air cleaner. I cant find the pic of it on my 84 Chrysler, I'll snap one tomorrow and post it. Once you get it running right those 318s deliver plenty of power for a young driver. My Chrysler has the same engine and I've surprised a couple of my "challenges" with it!!

oh and its not rancho lift its actually a skyjacker. but as to whether or not its lean i honestly couldnt tell u. i just got it about a month ago and havent been driving it much.
