Here's my newest acquisition. I am in the process now of putting the stripes back on it. It's going to be a couple of weekends. I'll post more pics when I'm done.

Cool! make sure you post some pics when your done. [I was planning on the dbl. racing stripes as well,...but after some body panel replacements, bodywork and a new base clear, "Triple Black" Paint job].

Oh I will. I got the tailgate ones on Saturday then it commenced to rain for 3 days and screwed them up. Large amounts of water dissolves the adhesive. There are a bunch of bubbles in them now. I'll have to see what I can do to fix them. My brother is going to repair the front drivers side quarter panel. You can see in the pic that it is pushed in. Also the passenger door has a crease where somebody backed into it. It's going to take me a while to get her fixed up but it'll be worth it when I'm done.

Thanks for all the great comments. Hard to believe I only paid 3K for it.

You could use warm, soapy water [dish soap] and a credit card...or body putty spreader to get rid of the bubbles,..then apply heat with a hair dryer to help finish the process.
