Default Got a Dodge back in my driveway! 77 D200 M808

Some of you guys may remember when I had my 07 Ram 1500, got into an accident back in October and ended up trading it in when I got it back for something better on the MPG's (Due to transfer of jobs was commuting 125 miles/day with the truck). Anyway, I still had a need for a pickup around the house (19 acres to tend to) so I've been keeping an eye on Craigslist since I got my car and finally landed a nice project truck....

This thing was listed online, owner wanted $1300 for it. Well talked him down to 900. Frame looks great, couldn't find any rust, body is in great shape (aside from bent rear bumper), it runs great (no smoke), and it shifts nice and smooth. Has good tires and service records from a month ago where all fluids were changed (both diffs, transmission, oil/filter, radiator flush), all new belts/hoses, and spark plugs. The gauges need some work (speedo and gas gauge are the only ones that work), and the brake lights don't work, but that's pretty minor. I drove it home (65 miles) without any problems yesterday, and have been out on my land all day today with it.

Title for the truck reads 30,091, and the odo reads 31,872 now. The guy I bought it from is a Fireman. This truck was issued to them when the military got rid of it. He said the truck was never really used much, but was well maintained during it's time at the Firehouse. When they decided to get rid of it, this Fireman bought it off of them, did a nice redneck paint job on it and painted over the firehouse red with green to get it back looking like an army truck. Anyway, the guy claims that the mileage is to the best of his knowledge accurate, so hey even better.

I'm pretty happy with my purchase and am already scouring the internet for things to do to it..

So Here's some pics of "Mean Green"
