I see you have the stroker motor and the 518 transmission... I am considering changing my gears and adding the stroker later.... My question is, are the 4:56 gears lower than you'd like? I am trying to decide between 4:10 AND 4:56... right now I have 3:55's and basically no power at all. It seems like something in between would be ideal, but the Chrysler 9.25 rear end doesn't offer 4:27...
So my question is, with all the power the 408 CID gives, wouldn't the 4:10's be good enough? I'm only running 32" tires... and don't want to wish for another gear, or change the ratio more than once...
Thanks for your opinion!

If you plan on only running 32s or even 33s 4.10s would be perfectly fine especially with the power of the 408. I run 35s with 4.10s on my 318 and works out just fine (a518 trans too) So with the stroker I wouldnt go higher than 4.10s.
