Finally back with a Dodge
I've always been a huge Dodge fanatic but haven't had one in a couple years due to losing my job and all that good stuff right after graduating college. But a few weeks ago we came across the right deal after selling our F-150 and jumped right on it. It's a 99 Durango, 4wd, 5.2L engine. Current mods are all new 2.5" exhaust mandrel bent from the manifolds back with the stock cat and aftermarket muffler, front windows are tinted to match the rest, niteshaded tails, and all the speakers are replaced with kenwoods inside. I'm trying to find some local 17" R/T Rims right now, planning on lowering it 2", black housing headlights, a round K&N filter, shorty headers, and superships. All in due time, but the 17" rims should be happening any day now. Anyways, here's some pictures...

I've honestly never agreed with lowering 4wd's but that's in aspects to trucks, they just look better lifted with some nice 35's under them, but I hate the look of lifted SUV's. They just don't make sense. I'd much rather have a nice set of 18's or 20's underneath with a few inches of wheel gap. The 4wd aspect will still be great in the snow, but I'll be towing with this as well, so nothing too crazy as far as lowering. I'm trying to figure out what the best approach to that will be after I put lowering blocks in, I'm thinking either airbags or Hellwig overload springs.
