Default 1985 Red and White W150 Power Ram Prospector 302 4x4

This is my 1985 w150 power ram prospector with the 318 in it. Any suggestions to give it more power? It has the stock intake and carb on it and its kind of turdy. It seems like it should have more power. Also, if I remove the smog pump and charcoal box will it free up the engine a bit more?

Your truck does not have a 302, it has a 318.

Besides that confusion, just start replacing worn out stuff: spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, wires. Once that is checked out, do a compression test to see if the engine is even worth messing with.

Default Fuel inlet at tank.

So there is a fuel inlet that also has the gas guage float that sits on top of the gas tank. The metal line rusted through and now it leaks everywhere when you start is. What is this peice called!!!!!!
