Default My 1st Dodge

This is Flo, a 94 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L 4x4 with an 8in lift, 37in military tires, dual flomasters, custom B&M slap stick floor shifter, PIA fog lights and she sounds sexy. Many improvements to come.

Now you've done it!!!!! You've got Dodge Fever. There's no real cure for it either. Symptoms include hysterical laughter when you pull braggarts with Chubbies and Furds out of stuck places and a painfully smug face when you help people with lesser brands do parts runs. Being in California, I doubt you'll have to break trail for the fire department in heavy snow, but I guess you do have mountains out there.

"limited edition" ? Defiantly not something i would expect a female to be driving. Are you handicapped? I see the placard on the mirror.

It looks like someone stuck the placards on there. They look like what you'd get at a parts store. As for the handicap placard, I had one long before I needed one for myself. I used to use it to haul my mother and her wheel chair around. I had one woman go off on me for parking in a handicap spot and getting out and walking normally. Until I opened the trunk and took the wheel chair out. If the OP takes someone around that needs a little help, all the more power to her.

I've been thinking (ow, ow, my head!!!) I'm wondering if Flo is an appropriate name for the OP's truck.I'm assuming the young lady in front of it is the OP. Being female, I would think a male name would be more in keeping with what she plans to do with it. I name my vehicles myself. I've had two red Dodge pickups named Emily. (Named after a friends daughter who was a really sweet kid growing up, haven't seen her in years) as well as my '03 RAMona. My current Mazda CX-5 is named Ruby after the color. Naming vehicles is a bit quirky but it also makes sure the owner takes better care of it.

While I have heard of men named Flo (Flo Ziegfield comes to mind), with the way the truck is equipped if I was female (I'm barely passable as a guy, I'd be a really ugly woman) I think Brutus or RAMbo might be better.

Then again, it's the OP's truck and if she wants to call it Flo, well, it IS her truck. I like the "Silly Boys...) decal in the window.

No matter what, these girls are certainly welcome here...

Maybe 'Flo' relates to the smoothness with which it 'flows' over the countryside?

Or how well the fuel flows into it?

I think more women name their vehicles than men, too.

thats definitely something I've heard a lot over the last few months. Yes, I am disabled. I have degenerative disc disease, which makes getting in and out quite difficult at times. But!!! I figured I'm not getting any younger and I've been in love with big trucks since I could talk. Might as well get one now while I can still climb in/out of the beast lol.

i didn't choose her name, she told me her name. Sounds weird I know. I've always named my vehicles. because when they start giving me hell or acting up, it just doesn't sound right to sweet talk a car named Brutus. Vehicles are finicky bitches and to me that resembles a female more than a male. Besides, it would look awfully strange if I had a pink truck named Brutus lol. I'm a 3 time cancer survivor and so I'm painting her pink.
