Cool! I didn't know you were from Michigan all this time LOL! It's going to be a test to see if I can get through on my road since I've had my truck burried up to the top of my hood once in snow on my road..only time it's ever been stuck! I never had a chance to put any sand bags in the back this year

 

Be careful and have some help with you. It's too cold to be digging out or walking around in 2 feet of Michigan sunshine.

 

Well I've gotta chance it to get to work tomorrow...the drifts in my folks driveway is already knee deep which means my road is going to be twice that due to open farmland to the east and woods to the west of me...If I get stuck I will have extra clothes with me and my lunch and of course a cell phone

 

The township south of me offcially got 17 inches of snow!! I almost got stuck on my road this morning but I just gave that gas pedal hell and tore through

 

Jackson officially got 12.6 inches. I hit the driveway with the snowblower today. Kinda cold out.

 

You know depending on where your born here in Michigan, it can be a really beautiful state. Like closer to up north around the UP. But with my luck I was born in Flint [:@]. I Hate It.

 

I always wish I was born and raised at least up around ******* or Traverse City.. I so love it up there Someday I hope to have a cabin up there!

 

I've been in MI just about all my life. Lived in Albion when I was a little kid. Then moved to Detroit. Then to Livonia.

Livonia's not bad, but it's not the same quiet little city it was when I first got here. Too much suburban sprawl now for me.

Don't get me wrong. I love Michigan. (And now that I've got my 4x4 Ram, I've come to really love driving in the snow.) But I kind of wish I could find another quiet little town. Thinking of moving up north.

 

Nope, not from Michigan.
But, I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night.

 

how can you hate the winter? when there is no snow it sucks, yeah. but the snow is GREAT! you can drive like it's off road anywhere you want to. then blame your "bad driveing" (includes fishtails, 360's and any other crazy moves you can think of) on the roads . you also get to lol at all of the ppl who sit at lights spinning their tires in the slush while you bolt from the light. and yep i voted too.
