well, here is the big chrysler show i was talking about..ive been there the last few years, and it was so big, that they fill the parking lot, and all of the grass areas around the museum.

I have contacted the show organizers to get information about possibly sponsoring the site on the behalf of the forum...I might get a vendor area to promote the site. Ive written them for full information. You know Lance, if that works out, it would look pretty sweet having the 2008 COTY and TOTY representing the site if you still have the truck then...

nitto, it costs a fortune to rent a track...

You don't have to rent the track. There is going to be 100's of other trucks of all kinds there for truck week. Rock crawling events, racing and a show. There were more dodges there last year then any other trucks. There are even Semi's there racing.

i know the events that youre talking about. they had a show every other thursday, and they would bring out old concept cars. this is like that, but its about 20 times bigger. cars wait in line to get in and show their cars.

Track rental is a pain ... When we rented the drag strip for the weekend it was $16,000 A single day was cheaper /Sunday was like $7k /$10k for Saturday Either one would be out of the question for this forum ...
Unsure what Milan charges ... http://www.draggindetroit.com/index.html Is a nice show and they run it as part of a classics show at the flea market ... There's plenty to do and see ...
