After my drive yesterday I am hot again to get traction bars for it. That desire went down after I put that smaller pulley on and lost power. Will probably order this month. Something like these....

ive only ever driven the car on the street with my DRs. i cant recall when was the last time i had a tire on the back that wasnt made by hoosier. theyre loads of fun in the rain...
wont the traction bars take you from wheel hop to wheel spin? if you went to a quality tire, how much abuse will that rear diff hold up to?

I have just a little more HP/TQ wise... The difference in the trucks is the cal-tracs, wheels and rubber. He is getting his power from the funny gas. I still think getting mine to hook like this is near impossible though, everything would have to really come together.

7.45..not bad at all. is he ONLY running the bottle? no boost? it sure rockets out hard, but say that you were to drive it all the time with tires that could hook that hard, will the rearend components hold up?

Hard to say, while not your average 9.25 Ram rear I have heard of some damaging their Dana 60
That truck has exhaust work, a tune, gears, cal-tracs and lots of NOS. A little over 600 at the wheels.

I am determined as hell to make it. If I cant share a ride (tranny in the 5th Ave started slipping only did it 3 times in the past 3 weeks) so I'm looking at flights, train or bus, which ever is more economical.
