Default Michigan DF Meet?

I know this has been discussed a few times already, but one more thread won't hurt.
I definitely think a Michigan DF meet should happen. Here are the people from MI that
I know of, if missed anyone let me know.

Dodgegirl19 - Shelby Township
dodgefreak - Macomb Twp
thejuice18 – Troy
bigddy9 - Chesterfield Township
redriderbob – Port Huron
neonSXT04 – Grand Rapids
dbouma - Caledonia (south GR)
SRT_YA – Midland
Rewopmar – Howell
Jgralka – Eastpoint
Billyd12 – Imlay City
Pause – Boyne City
Rambeast – Saginaw
pimpin97neon – Kalamazoo
Racer Rob – Grand Blanc
Redneck Ram – North Street (Port Huron)
Kenny871112 – Warren
Boulee – Lapeer/Pontiac
Frank Burns – Central MI

For planning purposes:
How far are you willing to travel?
Do you have a date and time preference?
Do you have any suggestions as to where it should be held? (will be added to poll)
Suggestions so far have been the Walter P. Chrysler Museum at the Auburn Hills Headquarters, Port Huron, Imlay City, and Stoney Creek Metro Park.

Oooohh, this is definately the most well thought out thread thus far... LOL!

How far are you willing to travel?
- I'd rather go to Stoney Creek Mtero Park because it's a nice, roomy place to meet up... nice scenary for pics. The Walter P Chrysler Museum is always awesome... Imlay City and Port Huron are a stretch for me, but I'll go if that's where the meet is, although I know of nothing exciting in either place. LOL!
Do you have a date and time preference?
Saturdays... because Sunday's are NASCAR...
Do you have any suggestions as to where it should be held?
I prefer Stoney Creek for the above reasons... LOL!

How far are you willing to travel?
Within about 2 hours driving distance of me, which would be Detroit area/east side of Mich.

Do you have a date and time preference?
No, basically anytime is good as long as I have warning so I can get off work.

Do you have any suggestions as to where it should be held?
No I don't, I'm not that familiar with the Detroit area and whats around there. Just something to meet people, maybe get something to eat, check out some car sites if possible. Something along those lines.

Actually there isn't anything in Imlay City thats exciting from what I can remember, but we can ask billyd12 he lives there. As far as Port Huron goes, Karen (Redneck Ram) would probably be the expert there.

Also if need be, I will personally PM everyone on the list to tell them about this post.

But to answer my own questions

How far are you willing to travel?
up to 3 or 5 hours of drive time

Do you have a date and time preference?
A Saturday or Sunday

Do you have any suggestions as to where it should be held?
No more suggestions from me, but comments yes
Walter P. Chrysler Museum - Chrysler headquarters, plenty of restaurants, and a micro brewery near by
Imlay City - conveniently in the middle, but the middle of no-where none the less
Port Huron & Stoney Creek Metro Park - been both places once wouldn't mind going again.

I know Port Huron very well and imlay city rather well but I have no clue where the museum is in auburn hills nor stoney creek metro park. If we meet in port huron I would suggest the birchwood mall. [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

The mueseum is right off of I-75. Between m-59 and m24 (lapeer rd)

And I think stoney creek is at the end of 16 mile (16 mile turnes into metro parkway)

I say we wait for next spring, and have an offical gathering at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. That way, we could contact the museum and see if they could set something up, or get us dicounts or something!

No offense but the Birchwood Mall in Port Huron is a LAME idea. Pretty much any place in Port Huron is. I rathier just wait to next year so we can get much more people together, find out what everyone would like to, what day is good, and see if we can make some formal invitations!
