Default what is a dump tube?

sorry this might be a stupid ? but i need to know. i was looking at the turbo kit i have online and it says what it came with and one of the things it came with was a dump tube! wtf is that plz tell me and what does it do!

Its a tube that you squat over and take a **** into after a couple bean burritos...lol. Sorry I couldnt resist myself. I have no clue what it is either.

Come to think of it I actually think I do know what it is. You attach an external wastegate to it and the extra boost that your wastegate releases, gets dumped into the atmosphere rather thaninto your exhaust track like our stock systems do. Supposedly it helps with exhaust flow which is critical for bigger turbos where turbo lag is more probable.

good answer....he might also be refering to a dump exhaust...not really sure but I think you're right on target

Monstab is right, however, it is also the 4" stainless line that runs from the bottom of the lav tank on a 737 toilet to the butterfly valve that the rampers hook up the lav cart upto.
I know this as I've had the pleasure as an aircraft mechanic to have to "unstick" a few. You would not believe what people flush down those aircraft toilets LOL! Plastic cups, beer/soda cans, baby diapers, clothing etc.
Oh yeah baby! The life I have lived........
