Well, not that big of a deal, but its ANNOYING.
the low fluid light indicator comes on at random, once every few days or so. but if you shut the car off, restart it, the light wont come back on.
remedies already tried:
day one:
checked oil level: good
checked coolant level: added a little coolant, level is good now
looked for fluids underneath the car: nothing there
second time:
checked fluids again, even the brake fluid, lol, all good
turned car off and back on, light wasnt on

so im thinking perhaps a bad sensor??? are there any other places i should check to ensure there isnt a big problem waiting to happen?
im thinking i should take it to the dealer and tell them i have a bad sensor somewhere, but i HATE going tothe dealership. then they have my car for 3 days only to say there isnt anything wrong.

 

Does it come on when you start it or when you are driving it?

its only when you first turn on the car, but it stays on until you shut the car off again... it hasnt done it yet while driving it.

 

which light exactly is turning on?

 

umm, its the oneslightlyabove and to the left of the seatbelt light.it kinda looks like a genie lamp w/ a drip coming out of it (old style oil container is suppose)

that would be your oil light. it's probably your oil pressure switch that took a dump, you can pick them up anywhere for cheap.
