any news on the neon srt-4 coming back?

 

the SRT-4 caliber. but there is much rumor of problems with the model, such as uncontrollabe vibration/wheel hop. and the 300hp rating that is going around is flywheel, not wheels. as well, the caliber is much heavier (and not nearly as sexy). thanks dodge, but ill keep the neon

 

Those Calibers look like a shoe. IMHO no one is going to buy them, who needs a 300 h/p mini wannabe SUV??? Not I.

 

Well I was the idiot who waited a couple years to buy an SRT-4 because I heard about the much faster Calibur. As soon as I saw what it looked like, I went to the dealership an bought a SRT-4. This was right b4 they stopped selling them inDecember 2005. I was soooo pissed, I though dodge was going to make a much better, sportier car but we got that. Eh, I don't think it'll sell too well either.

 

yeha i know.. caliber sucks ***!!! but i think its kinda cool that the srt4 is only made from 03, 04, and 05.. kinda a limited edition thing to me.. i dunno.. i owuld like them to make some more srt4 but then againi wouldn't... so i dunno..

 

yeah if they made another version of the car we have now, with awd, that'd be sweet, but it's gotta look better than the calibur. I'd pay 25,000 + for it.

 

what do you guys think about a srt avenger

 

the caliber does have the AWD version in the R/T, but not planned for the SRT4. i think an Avenger SRT might be the next best thing.

 

One of the good long term results of the limited production of the SRT-4 will mean itmost likelywillbe a collector's car.............
