Did you see the post from "Andy" about the sensor? He said to zip tie it down because it will happen again. Gonna check with the dealer first.......

I just wanted cruise to help me slow down on the interstate. I do a lot of highway driving. But you right it wouldn't be the same.

This may sound like a stupid question but cruise control is when you set a speed and you dont have to hold the pedal down or steer? i heard of it but didnt understand.

You got it. I've had it before and almost never used it. Too much traffic on today's roads in most places to make it cost effective.....maybe if you live in Australia......

dude i use cruise all the time- i agree w/ wayne, it's the only way i can keep the speeds down on the hwy. i would definitely have gotten it if they had it- i did alot of research trying to find a way to get it put in. but, it is a sports car, so i can't complain about not having extra "comfort" stuff. i knew it when i bought the car...

It's pretty bad when the pt turbo has cruise and us srt-4 owner's are left in the dark. [sm=smiley35.gif] the pcm use vacuum for cruise like they use to then we won't have any problem's when we upgrade the turbo.

This makes me wonder if the Vipers have cruise control or not.[&:]

Cruise is not an option, just lay a brick on the gas pedal

I believe that the PT has the cruise and the SRT-4 doesn't because of the upgrades. The PT can only upgrade to the Stage 1 or Stage 2, whereas the SRT-4 can get those plus Stage 2 w/toys and Stage 3. I believe that it is the use of the toys that eliminates the possibility of the cruise control and that it uses that plug on the PCM for the toys instead of the cruise control.
