The speedo doesn't bother me one bit at all, I just find it funny, and would rather have it like it is than have a guy replacing parts, you never know what they will do. But the srt is a great car, but I am thinking of selling it, I just get bored with cars fast. I like a car that needs repair, that I can bring back to life. I have had the car for 6 mounths and only got 3000 miles on her. Not really sure if I should, I think I might order a bov and see if that gets me motivated, but come winter it will be sitting in storage, don't really want to drive it in the old rustbelt in winter.

After driving the rental PT Cruiser, my excitement for the SRT-4 is good for a few more years, at least!!!!!!!![sm=smiley36.gif]

dodge has had problem's with their speedo's since the mid 80's with needle float. Some of the early car's if ya [sm=icon_beat.gif] the dash when parked and shut off the speedo would jump to say 80 and stay their till the dash got hit again. Nothing like being parked and [sm=icon_beat.gif] the dash for the world's fastest 0 to 80+ time's. Let's see a honda do 0 to 80 in 0.2 sec's[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Reminds me of my old 944. Real wobbly needle.

Maybe it's a german thing, now that our car has some of their blood.

I noticed it because I had read up everything I could find on the SRT-4's before I ever bought mine and the ever so slight 70-75 MPH needle fluctuation was a very common thing and that many customers have contacted DCX about that issue.

yeah, mine did it the first time i got to 120 or so. I had it WOT and it kept bouncing between 120-125. I was kinda mad thinking there was a speed limiter on there or something, but I remembered hearing top speed was 150. Plus the car kept picking up pace anyway. So I let off the gas and settled back down to 80 or so, then romped it up to 140 with no problems at all. It was just that one time I guess because I haven't had any probs since.
