turbo upgrade help
ok well, i know i was considering selling my car, however i put serious thought into it and figured i would be much better off, to just upgrade my car instead of buying a new one. so i need to know everything about getting this beast to 450-500 hp, i have heard that is still in the "safe" range without too much internal upgrade or crank upgrading. personally thats all i really need anyways. so with that in mind is that a true statement of being in the safe range? and with that all said, what would be my BEST choice as far as turbo upgrading? I basically need to know what kits you would recommend, i have been checking all over on all the different kits but i dont want to be doing this over and over spending more then i have too. who makes the best kit for our cars that will get me around 450 hp? what trim should i choose? what size housing? what supporting mods? if someone could take the time to give me a complete list of parts i need to support this, and let me know who makes the best kit to get me there that would be great thanks!
The question you need to ask is do I want a dyno queen or 1/4 mile brawler. There is a big difference. A well tuned SRT with 350-400 hp can run 11s just as well as a 500+ hp rides. If you just want the dyno sheet that gives you 450 hp, I would go with anAGP turbos.

Look into the garrett GT ball bearing turbos. GT3076R .63 A/R specifically, but you will need quite a few supporting mods to keep your SRT safe. I think you canpurchase that turbowith the AGPStage 4 kit. The good thing about the kit is that itgives you most everything you need. Also I would check into a local speed shop that knows how to tune SRTs. There is a lot more info out there and I'm sure everyone has a different opinion, but this is where I would start.

not much of a dyno queen myself, id like to shoot for the quarter mile times, but i noticed alot of the srts that run good in quarters are running around 400-450 which is the reason i am shooting for that.
