wordslayer ---- I think TooBaD's idea of a real car is a civic with a big a@@ shopping cart spoiler on the back and making rattling sounds coming out of a big bolt on coffee can with maxwell or folgers label peeling off of the side and about 4 dozen bumper stickers

Man,,,,posts like his just fry me. I don't understand why people try to mock or degrade this car in any fashion. Honestly, I think people should marvel at it.
Maybe it's just me, but when I am fond of something/someone, then don't attack it, because I can get like a pit bull. You know,,,it's like this. Have you ever seen a movie or done something you really liked, and then you want to share it with everyone else so that they can appreciate it? Well,,,that's the way I feel about this car, but for some damned reason, people have to cut it down in some way. These people that want to rip our cars better do it somewhere else. If they don't "get" it, then that's their problem, but they better not be trying to bash it around me.

Something else,,,,,have you ever heard how people like to talk about how cheap the interior is on our car? Well,,,,I will admit that it could be better, but damn,,,,I had an 02 mustang GT, and if you want to talk about ugly interiors, then talk about that one. Cheap plastic everywhere. It rattled and shook like an 90 year old Parkinson's patient, and had the ugliest gauges that I have ever seen on a car. The shifter was so far away from you that you had to be an monkey to drive it. The seats had no lateral support and on and on. But no one mentions the interiors on other cars, but they try to knock the one on our cars. Man,,,,,going from a mustang to the SRT, IMHO, is a huge improvement.....LOL.
