Hello folks over here in the SRT4 forums =D Im a first gen guy, and im looking into getting an SRT4. I have a question or two. First whats a good price to pay for a used 03? Second Im 20 years old, and my insurance would be 190 for full coverage on the SRT4 and liability on my first gen. Is that good? Thanks folks, Hope to be joinin ya soon!

 

price honestly depends on the condition of it and all. i wouldnt stay set so much on one particular year though. 03-05, just find one that fits your liking and price range. milage will probably be the biggest factor though. although one with some nice mods might go for a bit more (S3 for example). if you wanted to take the time, which i suggest being patient when searching for a car, monitor some sales on ebay to see what others are paying for one. also bluebook and go to nada guide and see what they are worth with various conditions and milage and such, get an idea of the ranges involved. basically do your homework on their values.
btw, what is your budget for one? there are always folks looking to sell, and you may have to travel to get what you want.
dont know bout the insurance rates though i know its been discussed before. im 24, wife is 21 and wejust paid 800 in feb to renew for 6 months of coverage on our 04SXT and 04 SRT4im sure if you did a quick search you might find the thread.

 

You can do better than an '03 SRT-4. The '04/'05 models have more power, larger fuel injectors, and a limited slip diff which helpsbig time onthe starting line.........

yeah get a 04/05 and price doesnt really matter... just make sure u do some info on it and see if they know who had it before you.. if it was a teenager most likely they abused it and i'd stay away from it.. but u never know.. just look at everything over and stuff..

plusi pay 249/month for full coverage.. so 190 isn't bad.. plus srt4's are the third most expensiver cars to insure..

 

If you really want an 03 you can get the DCR built one for 20,000 on Ebay. I pay 100 month for mine but I am 26 ,when I was 20 I was paying 250 for my VW so 190 is pretty good.
