yesterday was my first time at the track with my srt4, but i know i could do better e.t's with better launch, my hp numbers with 110 leaded gas is 450whp 432tq dynotunet at lujan motosports, i must say i suck at launch my 60's where 2.23 and 2.3, my 1/4 mile was 12.7 and trap speed 120
if psichic read this and can give me some helpfull tips i would appreciated since we have similar numbers, andshe dioesmid to high 11's at 121mph, i have 15" drag radials and couple of friends adviced me to run 13 psi on tires, alsoi have a 60trim turbo so i launched at 4500. there was a similar thread just started that discusses this. but the SRT4 is one of the hardest cars to launch. still seeing 12s is a nice acheivement for you. and the fact your on drag radials is gonna change the whole ballgame as far as launch rpms.

 

at 45000 you wont get any traction.Did you go to MOROSO ? because I was there last Friday with like 10 other SRTs.That night a percentage of all the money moroso made was givento the family of Steven....the kid that got killed 2 weeks ago(srt4 owner).I had drag radials, mickey thompsons.My first launch was at 3000...I didnt get much traction(2.01)....2nd launch was at 5000...spun 1st and 2nd(2.4)...and I'm pushing a lot less power than you.I suggest you find some slicks and give those a try

Now before you strip fanactics start trying to flame me I know those numbers don't normalygo together.

The car did it all on the big end after it quit trying to dig a hole through the track.

There was a 31 ford coup gasser on the line next to me when the tree went green he had 7 lenghts on me at the traps I was .002 sec behind him traveling 22mph faster. (the track needed to be just a little bit longer)
