I ran at the track for the first time in my srt-4 this weekend and I ran 13.9 @104 with a crapy 2.3 60ft and evrytime I ran for some reason my boost would not go past 13 14 psi. I reset my computer and the last run I had the slip said 13.6 @ 106 with 2.1 60 ft but my boost was going crazy like 20 psi. I could not get my boost to stay at 17 like it normaly is. i am getting a boost controller so next time I go I can make sure my boost is where it is supposed to be.

 

Yeah on what would have been my best time probably I got a 2.0 60ft and missed 4th for some stupid reason (I am still getting used to the sts) and ran a 14.0 @ 84 but no excuses I still had fun and I ran the car about 5 times 4 of them in 20 minutes and then it got crowded.

 

damn a 13.9 thats not bad and those under your sig are your only mods? man i really want a stage2 upgrade so bad right now

 

Yeah those are my only mods that i know of since I did buy the car used. I don't know where your from but where I race it is pretty much at sea level and it was nice and cool this weekend. I know that I can actually do better when I get my 60 ft down but probably will get dr's

 

Yeah that 106 mph is phenominal for no stage.
Of course the sea level track is a plus too.

 

Maybe I have a freak or something from what I saw at the track alot of the cars where running real slow in the begining of the night though. there was a GTO 6.0 that only ran 14.5 which is really bad and another srt-4 ran 14.4 but it was alot hotter when I first got there. I ran my best time on my last pass when it was much cooler but my car has so much top end compared to the other srt-4 's that I test drove before I got mine and like I said it was boosting 20 psi on the last pass but for some reason no fuel cut or anything like that.
