CAI - Iceman or K&N
Well, I have a decision to make, and it's a tough one, so I thought I'd let you guys help. The Iceman sounds like it may make a horse or two more, but the K&N looks sooo much sweeter under the hood- obviously power normally comes first, but is 1 or 2 ponies worth having a big piece of plastic under there?
I have yet to see any performance numbers on the Iceman, but it looks like pure a$$. Even the stock air box looks better than the flatworm looking Iceman CAI. The Iceman CAI's main pipe changes size drastically and has one part that necks down fairly small, I really don't see why anyone would buy it. To me the K & N Typhoon CAI is far superior as well as being $58 cheaper than the Iceman. If we were talking about a 1st gen Neon, then I would pick the Iceman without a second thought, but on an SRT-4 the K & N is by far the best and was my pick. Here is a picture of the Iceman kit (seperated and laid out: not installed) and my K & N Typhoon CAI installed:
