Hi all just wanted to drop a line and say im getting an SRT-4 soon and wanted to know what would be the first thing you guys would get for your SRT-4...and whats this I hear about a Oil Catch Can???

Alot of people will jump on this post about the things you should do. I recommend the Oil Catch Can its a cheap good mod and will help your baby run better longer. This is the site i used to do mine

The second thing I would do and this is what im planning on doing to mine is getting the Prothane Motor Mount Inserts which can be found here: http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/srt4_index.shtml
I have no personal exp with modern performance as of yet, but there are quite a few on these boards that have and i know there higly recommended.


Some people have had problems with their #4 spark plug wire melting do to the heat from the turbo I have not had this problem but i still plan to upgrade to some MSD's which can also be found on the modern performace website.

Im starting with more of the "non performace enhancing" parts to make the car run better longer. Then i will start with the horsepower adding onces once i have learned the car and how to drive it.

For more info on both subjects, towards the bottom of the main page of the SRT-4 forum (under the list of threads) there is a box that says "Search Term". Click in it and type in a key word or phrase such as "catch can" or "mods", then click on the Search button next to it and it will give you tons of links to threads and posts where we have already discussed these things. This is probably the best and easiest way for you to find what your looking for.
